Tatoyan accuses Moscow of pressuring Armenia

Russia does not consider Armenia a partner state, said Arman Tatoyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the “Wings of Unity” alliance.

“I want us to speak openly: Russia does not see us as a partner, but as a state dependent on it,” he said, according to Aysor.am.

In his view, that is precisely why various forms of pressure are being exerted on Armenia.

“As a result, Armenian farmers and businesspeople suffer. We should not look at who is the preferred candidate of Moscow, Baku or another capital. We must choose our own candidate, and our problems will be solved when we have leadership and authorities guided by Armenia’s interests,” he added.

The election campaign that began on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be observed as a day of silence, while elections will take place on June 7.
