Armenia and the United States have initialed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation related to TRIPP. The documents were signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
A comprehensive strategic partnership charter between Armenia and the United States was also signed, according to 1lurer.am.
In addition, the sides signed a framework memorandum on securing supply chains in the extraction and processing of critical minerals and rare earth resources.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Armenia with his wife, Jeanette Rubio. They were welcomed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his wife, Gohar Abajyan.
Following the signing ceremony, Ararat Mirzoyan and Marco Rubio are expected to make statements to the press.
