Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he would not comment on statements made by any person currently being held in detention in Baku.
Pashinyan made the remarks while responding to journalists’ questions about a recent message from businessman and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, according to Aysor.am .
In his statement, Vardanyan said it was “immoral to hold a parade while our officers and soldiers are in Baku.”
“I will not respond, because it is unclear under what conditions and circumstances those statements are being made,” Pashinyan said.
Former Artsakh state minister Ruben Vardanyan earlier addressed the public in Armenian, commenting on the current situation in Armenia. He stated that “the people choose Brave Nazar as king; he does not become king on his own,” adding that Armenia’s future remains in the hands of its people. Vardanyan also said he fears that “a great punishment awaits Pashinyan.”
