The official opening ceremony has taken place for the first artificial intelligence factory built by Armenian company Eleveight AI, according to a statement by High-Tech Industry Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on Facebook.
“At this moment, the official opening ceremony of the first AI factory built by Armenian company Eleveight AI is taking place in the Gagarin community. The company is presenting the region’s first NVIDIA Blackwell B300 AI factory.
The new center is designed to support large-scale AI computing, ranging from the training of artificial intelligence models to business, scientific and engineering applications. Investments in the first phase of the project amount to $70 million,” Hayrapetyan wrote.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredian discussed issues related to the progress of Firebird’s project to build an artificial intelligence factory and a data center in Armenia.
