A search is being conducted at the home of journalist and public opposition figure Nairi Hokhikyan.
The information was confirmed by Armenia’s Investigative Committee, according to Sputnik Armenia.
“Investigative actions are being carried out within the framework of a criminal proceeding,” the Investigative Committee stated.
On May 31, Nairi Hokhikyan reported that his home in Norakert had come under attack, stating that he had been struck in the face and head.
At the time, Hokhikyan expressed the belief that the incident had been directed by members of the Civil Contract party.
