🍿 If the Olivier salad and tabbouleh have gone sour, the leftover pork knuckle and basturma have been eaten up with scrambled eggs, and the Christmas tree standing in the living room somehow looks out of place, then it’s time to fully say goodbye to the holiday mood. What this new year will bring is impossible to predict, but in terms of cinema, we are in for an extremely packed and rich year. There will be the usual sequels, prequels, reboots, and remakes, along with multi-million-dollar blockbusters and long-awaited arthouse films from talented visionaries.

This year, Marvel is going all in, following an “all or nothing” principle; Nolan will once again spark a clash between his haters and admirers; and the third Dune, shouting “death or millions,” will attempt to stand against Disney’s gigantic, all-consuming machine.
