GM Hrant Melkumyan satisfied with his performance at Bosna 2011

The runner-up of 41st International Tournament Bosna 2011 and winner of Blitz Chess Championship, Armenian grandmaster Hrant Melkumyan is satisfied with his performance.

“As the grandmaster said in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, “the struggle was intense. None of the participants wished to settle for a tie, so we fought to the finish.”

“In the last tour, I played with black pieces against one of my main rivals. Though we both wanted to win, the round ended in a tie. As a result, Georgian chess player who I shared points with became a winner.”

As the grandmaster noted, he feels more at ease in blitz chess games, enjoying them more.

A number of individual and team international tournaments are on grandmaster's agenda in near future.
